We especially cater to people recovering from illness, injury, trauma, heartbreak, and activism burnout.

And if you must work while staying in this leisurely setting or just want to stay in touch with family, friends, and colleagues, you'll find good wifi access and comfortable workspaces.
 

Your hosts are writers and theatre artists who are happy to share our knowledge with others. George is a playwright, director, dramaturg, actor, author, podcast host, teacher, and metal artist; and Maura is a journalist, poet, playwright, director, actor, editor, dramaturg, master gardener, educator, and environmental/rights/climate activist.Accomplished chefs both, we scratch-cook delicious foods, much of which is grown in our gardens and orchard, and we're striving for zero waste.

As we're a multiple-chemical-sensitivity household, we avoid scented products here.
Our property is an entirely tobacco-free zone. 

We have lost dear people to Covid, and Maura has worked with virologists and epidemiologists since the pandemic began. Thus we are careful to follow guidelines regarding Covid safety.
