We loved our stay at La Casa de la Luna Feliz! George and Maura are warm and welcoming hosts. It’s an oasis of peace. You’ll be surrounded by beautiful gardens, George’s whimsical metal sculptures and a lovely view into the valley below. The accommodations are comfy and every morning starts with Maura’s delicious breakfasts and smoothies made from local fruit. It’s the perfect escape from the crazy world.

La Casa de la Luna Feliz was a beautiful and wonderfully joyous abode for my mother and I this past holiday season! Our room, located conveniently right off the main patio, was clean, private, and stocked with all the necessities and more – I can’t forget about all the scrumptious snacks and teas! The garden and lawn is extremely well-maintained and looks out over the San José valley. Just imagine, rocking peacefully in a hammock, breathing in the fresh mountain air and scent of hibicsous! Flutter open your eyes and gaze out onto the valley. A rainbow! What a dream. This dream is a daily reality at La Casa de la Luna Feliz. What more – the delicious vegetarian and vegan meals! Homemade bagels that practically melt in your mouth, mouth-watering scrambles with fresh vegetables, and sweet spreads are a staple of La Casa de la Luna Feliz. George and Maura are the most lovely hosts. They made sure our every need was met, arranged our transportation, suggested outings and helped plan our mini-trips to more touristy-areas. We are very grateful for such a fantastic stay at La Casa de la Luna Feliz and hope to be back soon. 🙂

Our family of five loved our nine-day stay at Casa del la Luna Feliz! The hosts were amazing; knowledgeable about the country, the culture and how to best visit with minimal environmental impact. The house is nestled fabulously in the mountains, with NO bugs and gorgeous wide panoramic views; it has ample space and is beautiful both inside and outside, provides easy driving (Costa Rica style) access to beaches, supplies and activities, and creates a peaceful respite from, well, everything!

What a wonderful ten days with both of you! Our bedroom was clean and spacious, plus stocked with snacks and great Costa Rican coffee. Views of the whole central valley were beautiful, and at night all the twinkling lights looked like Christmas! Most important--and greatly appreciated--was your willingness and assistance when we had our rental car breakdown. You went our of your way to help when it wasn't your problem. We will gladly come back multiple times!
